Dieter Kahsnitz
Presenter & Executive Producer
Born in Greensborough, Victoria, Australia, Dieter exhibited at an early age his love for bikes and anything that went fast by skiving off school at every opportunity and terrorizing Greensborough and its surrounds. Greensborough, the cultural capital of the Diamond Valley has some of the regions best graffiti, burnout spots and is populated by a better class of bogan. Dieter was at home there. His early passion was riding motorcycles throughout Victoria with a shotgun strapped to the bike, setting fire to stuff and shooting his foot on a shooting trip to Booligal. (another cultural high water mark in NSW). He has an interesting East Prussian heritage, complete with his great Uncle being a General in the Gross Deutschland Panzer division in the Russian campaign, his uncle driving a Tiger 1 on the Eastern Front and his Grandfather running a prison camp in Poland (all true). His highlights in his meager life to date, going for a spin in an F1 car, driving Peter Fitzgerald's GT3 Porsche Cup Car (and breaking it - sorry Peter), sitting in an F16, a P51, riding an RC30, hanging out with Mark Webber (when he was NOTHING), managing Josh Brookes - the next Aussie World Champion motorcycle rider. (he hopes) and The C Word.
He won Best Male TV Presenter 2 years running for Community TV across Australia in 2005/6 and produced and presented his own segments on Chanel 9's Car Show and Boat Show across 3 seasons. But don't hold that against him. He lists his favourite interests being cars, bikes, jet fighters, trains, battleships and Michael Jackson. Shamon. You know it.
